- Pure raw ingredients Our skincare contains no refined, bleached or deodorised oils so they are full to bursting with anti ageing Antioxidants, Essential Omega Fatty Acids, Vitamins and Phytosterols that feed, nourish and improve your skin.
No cheap, weak bulking agents or fillers No water, sunflower oil, mineral oil, wax emulsifiers, solvents or refined oils making our products super concentrated, wholesome and very economical. Every single drop is full of pure raw skin food.

- Handmade with great care, love and attention. Our products are made by us and not factory produced. We are an ethical, eco company dedicated to being an active part of the solution and not a part of the problem.
- We steer clear of cosmetic ingredients. By definition they are highly refined, bleached and deodorised to make them light in colour and odor nuetral. They are devoid of nutritional goodness.
- The refining process for both the food and the cosmetic industry is brutal. Caustic soda or Hexane is first used to bleach the seed oil, it is then 'washed' with fullers earth or something worse to remove fragrance and finally the oil is steam distilled to remove all traces of colour and natural fragrance. The delicate seed oils are heated to a temperature of up to 180º which along with the caustic soda, hexane and steam destoys all nutritional goodness.
- Delicate seed oils with their rich and health promoting structure of antioxiants, vitamins, essential fatty acids and plant sterols are destroyed at temperatures above 45ºC.
- This is why Natural Wisdom will only ever use premium organic, cold pressed and CO2 extracted oils and cold blend them to make the purest, raw skinfood from 100% natural wisdom, nothing taken out and no chemicals or processing ingredients added.

We made the commitment to be certified organic so we could help protect natural biodiversity and help raise awareness of the importanance of organic agriculture.
We wanted to be able to ensure our skincare was 100% bioactive with concentrated goodness for guaranteed results so we don't use gas to heat our ingredients to high temperatures. This also greatly reduces our energy consumption making us a very carbon light company.
- We use glass for our bottles so they can be recycled and useful again and again.
- We prioritise eco friendly packaging solutions that contain recyclable material and are biodegradable or recyclable.
- We use biodegradable, reusable and recyclable packaging. Our labels are printed by a UK award winning leader in environmental printing (The Pure Print Group) and are printed with vegetable inks on biodegradable paper sourced responsibly.

Maeve and Marie have been good friends since they met at a local toddler group whilst living in Brockley, South East London in 1996. Maeve currently lives in Hampshire with her husband and 3 children and Marie lives on a smallholding in Kent with her two boys. They are both qualified health professionals.
Marie trained as a Nurse in 1990 & went on to become a Midwife in 1992 where she spent several years practicing as an independent Midwife in London. Marie is passionate about providing woman with chemical free, safe skincare She combines her work with Natural Wisdom with her love of organic agriculture, Honey bee conservation and bee keeping.
Maeve qualified as a Homeopath after 4 years of training in 2005. In 2006 Maeve spent 3 months completing her clinical training and doing further research and study in rural Ecuador, South America. Her passion for nutrition & indigenous herbal medicine are amongst the influences behind her inspiration for their skincare recipes. Maeve has been formulating organic skincare since 2006.
