Growing older is a beautifying process of wisdom & privilage & we're all for it not against it.

What Are CO2 Extracts?

CO2 extraction is a cutting-edge method that preserves the full spectrum of a plant's beneficial compounds. Unlike traditional extraction methods that often use solvents or heat, CO2 extraction utilizes pressurized carbon dioxide to gently extract essential oils, vitamins, and antioxidants from the plant material.

How does this work?

An air tight stainless steel drum with an inner & outer chamber is filled with dried plant material & the lid is tightly sealed. CO2 Gas from a closed system (which means it is circulated & reused) is pumped into the inner chamber and the pressure within the drum is changed which transforms the CO2 Gas into a very cold liquid, this is the supercritical part of the extraction process.

The drum is then spun at incredible speed creating an intense centrifugal force which forces the plant Oils out of the dry plant materieal & into the liquid gas. This liquid is seperated & captured in the outer chamber leaving behing the dried plant matter.

The pressure is reduced & the liquid Gas is automatically transformed back into a gas which is captured for the next extraction.

This extraction process yields the goodness from the whole plant material. In the total absence of light, heat & oxygen, this creates a superior quality, nutrient dense Oil.

The Many Benefits of CO2 Extracts:

1. Purity and Potency: CO2 extraction captures the pure essence of the plant, ensuring that all beneficial phytochemicals are preserved without the introduction of harmful solvents. This results in a potent extract that delivers maximum benefits to the skin.

2. Extended Shelf Life: The process of CO2 extraction also enhances the stability of the oils, resulting in a longer shelf life. This means you can enjoy the full benefits without worrying about degradation over time.

Premium grade Organic Cold Pressed Seed Oils are exquisite but their shelf life is limited to a maximum of 6 months. CO2 extracts when stored correctly, benefit from a shelf life of up to 2 years or even up to 5 years for some extracts.

3. Whole Plant Benefits: CO2 extracts contain a wide array of phytonutrients, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids, providing comprehensive nourishment for your skin. This holistic approach ensures your skin receives the full spectrum of benefits the plant has to offer.

4. Sustainability: Many CO2 extraction processes are environmentally friendly, using full circle & renewable resources and producing minimal waste. This aligns with our ethos to only work with sustainable and ethical producers of natural ingredients
